The rain gauge is very nice and I love the glow but it has been a year since we purchased and all the numbers have worn off. Disappointed it didn't last longerIt had potential with good looks and a beautiful light. Then the rain came and I noticed that it read much higher than my 3 other rain gauges. Upon inspection of the glass gauge I noticed that the large lip of it tilts in like a funnel which I suspected was the reason of the over reading. I took some clear epoxy that I had and corrected the problem of the lip tilting inward. The first rain afterwards read nearly identical to the average from my other gauges.Problem solved!Arrived with the dragonfly broken off but it was easy to reattach with super glue. The solar light works greatCute but the top is very heavy, and the stake is very flimsy. It does light up at night.Cylinder markings easy to read. It has a solar cell which is to power an LED in the blue globe. However the LED does not work.Was very disappointed in this product. After one year of use, the metal support broke and it had to be thrown away. It was stored all fall and winter indoors.Will not recommend!!!I ordered this rain guage in the color orange. It was sent in yellow.The rain guage itself is absolutely wonderful. I LOVE it overall but would have preferred the orange that I ordered.Just received my rain gauge. I haven’t had a chance to use it, because, it’s very much winter here. It’s very nice. I think I will have to give it some extra anchoring. We get pretty strong winds.
